Why We Made It
Not a boardroom idea. A drink three mates made because they actually wanted it to exist.
A drink that started almost by accident
We're Josh, Paddy, and Fred, and Hopps started almost by accident. We were obsessed with non-alcoholic prebiotic sodas - everyone around us seemed to be drinking them instead of regular soft drink.
One night, celebrating something that shouldn't have gone in, we mixed a bottle of vodka with the prebiotic soda we already had going. Placebo or not, we all felt lighter that night, and woke up feeling noticeably better than usual.
That's the night the idea for Hopps started - not in a boardroom, but with a drink we made because it actually worked.
What we stand for
Every claim on a Hopps can has to be true, checkable, and printed in plain numbers. We'd rather say "not bad" and let you find out for yourself than reach for "revolutionary."
Every flavour meets the same bar: low calorie, low sugar, real prebiotic fibre. No flavour gets a pass because it's popular. Made and canned in Melbourne, with a local production partner - not offshored the moment demand grows.
